A Modern Fairytale

Alice and Joe’s love story began in the most unexpected way—on a random chat site at the start of lockdown in 2020. Out of all the people they could have met, fate brought them together, only 23 miles apart. Their connection was instant. Alice was immediately drawn to Joe, not just by his looks, but by the kindness and sincerity she felt from the very start. Joe, on the other hand, was struck by Alice’s cuteness and a quirky love for planes. Little did they know, this would be the beginning of a lifelong adventure.
What truly set their relationship apart was how it blossomed despite the physical distance. With lockdown preventing any face-to-face meetings, they got to know each other through texts and FaceTime. Alice knew even before they met in person that Joe was the one she’d spend her life with. Joe realised how special their bond was during their walks together, where everything just felt right.
Their first official date was a simple but meaningful walk in the countryside, followed by a movie and some snuggles at Alice’s place. Joe was so excited that when it was time to leave, he accidentally tried to walk out through the store cupboard!
Through the ups and downs of life, they’ve been each other’s rocks. From Alice losing her job during lockdown to Joe navigating career challenges, they’ve always stood by one another, offering unwavering support and love. Alice admires Joe’s kindness, loyalty, and passion for making a positive impact on the world. For Joe, Alice’s resilience and strength have always been a source of inspiration.
Joe’s proposal to Alice was nothing short of magical. After a bit of family plotting and planning, Joe knew the perfect place to pop the question—Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, Alice’s happy place. It’s a memory they’ll cherish forever, tied to a place already filled with so much joy.
As a couple, Alice and Joe are homebodies at heart, loving their time together in comfy clothes, watching Harry Potter marathons, playing video games, or cooking up something new in the kitchen. They also share a love for travel and adventure, whether it’s a staycation or exploring new cultures abroad.
Looking ahead, their vision for the future is simple: to stay happy and navigate life hand in hand, wherever it may take them. They’re excited about finding their first home together and, in time, perhaps starting a family. For now, they’re soaking up all the joy that comes with being newlyweds and looking forward to more adventures to come.
