When it came to choosing a wedding venue, they didn’t need to look far. For a little context Amberlea is a gardener at Renishaw Hall and Kai is an arborist, their love is rooted in the garden. So naturally, their own garden is the perfect spot for the celebration. It offered everything they wanted. Quiet, familiar, and full of meaning. It made sense to get married at home.
The theme of the day was relaxed and personal: think chill, a bit hobbity, and lightly inspired by Tolkien. It was all about comfort, closeness, and creating something that felt truly them.
Amberlea walked down the aisle to a song from Skyrim, played on a hammered dulcimer. Something simple and beautiful that fit the tone of the day.
When asked what they were most looking forward to, the answer was refreshingly honest: all of it. From start to finish, they wanted to be present and soak in every part of it.
A day shaped by intention, full of connection, and set against the backdrop of their own home. Kai and Amberlea’s wedding was a beautiful display of the fruits of labour and the prevalence of love.
Three words to describe the day? Company. Joy. Dancing.
"It means the world to us to be able to relive TWO momentous days, in glorious moving picture, anytime we wish.
Priceless. Genuinely.
I must mention how the finer details such as integral timings of festures upon the various musical scores are complimented through the editing. Impressive stuff.
All in all, Nathan has great skill in capturing moments exactly as they were without being intrusive or "in the way"... to be honest I think he's a little too good at walking backwards whilst filming!!"
